Real Madrid confirm another injury to Sergio Ramos

Real Madrid have confirmed that Sergio Ramos has suffered another injury.

The 35-year-old made his return to action after a two-month absence in the Champions League semi-final defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday.

However, it appears the Los Blancos captain is set for another spell on the sidelines after the club revealed on Saturday morning that he has picked up a knock.

According to the club, Ramos has been diagnosed with ‘tendinosis of the semimembranous muscle of his left leg.’

There has been no confirmation for how long he will be out for at this moment but his season, and remaining time at Real Madrid, could be in doubt.

Ramos is yet to agree an extension on his current Real Madrid contract, which expires this summer.
